It is not just a job, but a way of life, just like for all those who dream, create, and are inspired by it.
So, if you are looking for stories that inspire and motivate, that instill faith and help find meaning while believing in goodness, read my stories on the Goodacity website.

Gratitude for help - a surprise for young volunteers
“Thank you for the opportunity to sleep and wake up in our own beds. For the chance to smile and go to school. Thank you for life!…”
These touching and heartfelt lines are from a letter written by a student from a small border village in Chernihiv region to a Ukrainian defender. How much heart and soul they have, how much love and warmth! When children help the military, it is impossible not to be moved and inspired!
Recently, the students of the school raised funds at a charity fair to purchase necessary equipment for the soldiers – and they were delighted to be able to contribute to a useful and important cause!
Good deeds do not go unnoticed – they shine like beacons… Gratitude for help can take different forms – and as a token of appreciation, our defenders decided to surprise the young volunteers by visiting their school!
Indomitable nation: how students and teachers support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Gratitude for help from the military is always incredibly touching and valuable, and for the children, it’s also a whole fountain of emotions! The war took away childhood from our children – they had to grow up so tragically fast… However, not all adults are capable of doing what they do to help our defenders, and the stories of their assistance are truly impressive and inspiring,” says the deputy head of the school, Zoya Ivanivna. “Supporting the defenders of Ukraine has already become a good tradition in our gymnasium: for eight years, we have actively helped our military, especially when the full-scale war began. And it’s not just the school, but also parents, children, and teachers – we have all come together to help our defenders because we understand that by helping our army, we are getting closer to Victory every day!
All our students – from the youngest to high school students – contribute their talents, skills, and imagination to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine! They make yellow and blue bracelets and talismans for the soldiers, write letters and draw pictures with various messages and slogans to encourage the defenders. “Ukraine will win,” “I embrace you, my hero,” “The Cossack spirit has no translation” – the boys really love such crafts, and children’s drawings with heartfelt wishes are always attached to their backpacks!
All their handmade items are sent by the school volunteers to the soldiers on the front line, and each package contains a heartfelt note: “I love you. I want you to come back alive. You are our heroes!” These words cannot be read without tears – what sincere and compassionate children we have!”
Gratitude for help - a flag from the military
“Together with the children this spring, we decided to organize a charity fair to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We prepared very carefully and diligently for the charity fair,” says Zoya Ivanivna. “The children baked homemade pastries, knitted, braided, and crafted because we were raising money for the military! The students were helped by parents, teachers, relatives, and friends. And at the fair, everyone eagerly bought sweets and children’s handmade items – they were sold out in minutes!
Of course, we couldn’t raise enough money on our own to buy a very expensive device – a special binocular for the military. However, with the help of Chernihiv volunteers, the funds we collected became part of what will assist our brave warriors in defending our Motherland. This is our small contribution to victory and the best example that when we are united, we are capable of everything!
And the most pleasant moment was the moment of handing over the binoculars because our local soldiers visited the gymnasium for it, as well as to present the children with a flag signed by the military and the commanding officers of the unit, along with gratitude for the help! Currently, this flag from our Defenders hangs in the school foyer, next to the national flag, as one of the most valuable relics…
Our students presented our yellow-blue flag to the boys, on which each class wrote their wishes – to return with Victory! Along with the binoculars, we also handed them several boxes of sweets, children’s crafts, drawings, and letters. One of our students personally made handmade protective bracelets and sincerely thanked them for their protection on behalf of all of us. Such a warm, heartfelt meeting was a success – all the children wanted to approach, talk, and even just cuddle up – they ran up to the soldiers and timidly asked, “Can I hug you?” The boys sincerely enjoyed those childlike hugs and words of gratitude! We gave them an improvised tour of the school: showed them the shelter that we parents had set up ourselves last summer so that the children could experience learning “live,” and our “mini-enterprise” for making trench candles…
Together - towards Victory!
Throughout the fall, winter, and beyond, we gathered with the students and together made trench candles after classes. When our fellow villagers found out, they started to help: we didn’t even expect that so many people would respond to our “warm” initiative! In the village, they collected jars for candles everywhere, and volunteers started helping us with paraffin, which we initially purchased with our own money – and this support and caring attitude inspired us!” says Mrs. Zoya.
So our initially small initiative of a few people turned into almost continuous production in just a few months. The boys came, looked around, and said, “You have a whole factory here!” the woman laughs. “They took a crate of trench candles with them because the nights there, in the East, are still cold…
We hugged, cried, and like a mother, I blessed them… They are all so young, they could be my sons!” Many good, warm words and emotions were left behind when the boys said goodbye to us and headed back to the front, to the place where the fate of our country is being decided, leaving us with tears of gratitude… Their words of gratitude are one of the incentives for us to keep going, to do so much more. Because it is thanks to them that we have everything: for every quiet hour, for every new morning; we greet and bid farewell to each day with gratitude to those who hold the sky above us. And we are happy to help such people. Happy to see sparks of hope and faith in their eyes. Happy to be able to embrace such fighters, to help them in any way we can.
We will do everything in our power so that every mother can see her son again, every sister can see her brother again, every child can see their father again… Many of our students’ parents are currently serving in the war, and they want to help, they want to be involved in our victory. We are delighted that the children are growing up as motivated, conscious patriots who volunteer out of the call of their hearts because they understand how important and necessary it is. And the gratitude for their help during the war inspires and motivates them!
The boys say: our children are the best motivators for victory! Because it is for their future that they, the recent engineers, entrepreneurs, doctors, and programmers, have gone to the front and become Defenders—defenders of their country and its children. And we are confident that with such children and such defenders, the victory and a bright future for Ukraine are undeniable facts!
